Book-Records Management DMS
is the same group of data
management applications constituting the Data Management
Systems software but augmented with the records transactional
application specialized to serve library according to the developed
concepts of library sciences.
Further, the software is enhanced
with
terminal-emulator interactive-module for data management with legacy (remote
mainframe) systems to better enable and accommodate the functional
needs of libraries that have previous operated with legacy. |

The models are differentiated
from the Standard Edition and from each other through further
augmentations
with combinations of Data
Mining module,
Data Statistics Analyzer, Biometric
Access Control for data access control,
and use-specific
applications accessories,
and
Document Manager and
ReportWriter.
The Standard Edition
obtains from the specialization of the default Data Management
System with the information analysis application, which
includes several intrinsic application modules as standard that include
Book Track
Bar Code Scanner
supported with a scan-codes storage database,
Book
Image-data Preserver preserving as database objects, hard
copies of image-data as well as computerized digitized
high-density pixel content data of book covers,
Late-return Notification and
Billing application - adapted from the
Billing and Invoicing application, and
Bill Payment Module -adapted from the renown SoftWerks
PointOfSale MDX Edition software
- and
permits payment entry even with scan of billing invoices.
