Contexts of Partnerships
Alliance Partners
The class of Alliance Partnership, while not involving equity
ownership of any kind as with standard alliances, has all the
functionalities of such alliances all the same, and as such
entails the concerting of development and production efforts
towards the provisioning of the products of the company
Affiliate Partners
The offering of products often entail the packaging that
avails the consumer with Complete Products, and such
activities usually require the inclusion of the products of
other vendors, and these vendors therefore become partners,
Affiliate Partners, by sometimes customizing their products to
work with the company products
Collaborative Partners
As a member of the corporate group under coordinated
management, the company is by default a partner of each of the
companies, and because these group-member companies generally
collaborate, the association qualifies as Collaborative
Partnership.
Developer Partners
The company also generally develops on third party software,
generally Operating Systems software and sometimes application
software; and such development activities are best managed
cost-effectively using copies of the software specifically
targeted to developers, and the third-parties effectively
becomes partners of the company.
